IN RESPONSE TO THE GROWING DEMAND ON THE WEEE PROCESSING MARKET, AT THE BEGINNING OF 2019, ELEKTRORECYKLING LAUNCHED AN INNOVATIVE PROCESSING LINE FOR LARGE-SIZE REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT
The process on the processing line begins with the detection and recovery of refrigerant gases and the protection of hazardous substances. Subsequently, further conveying equipment carries a stream of refrigeration equipment through the largest grinding mill in its class, a series of separators, a dedusting system and a grinding mill.
The appropriate combination of devices resulted in the launch of a line precisely selecting individual fractions of purified metals and plastics, with the separation of PUR foam.
The hermetic nature of the system reduced the risk of environmental impact, and the implementation of fire protection systems using the properties of liquid nitrogen reduced the risk of fire to a minimum.
At the same time, the line is characterized by high efficiency, allowing to reach the level of 20,000 tons of processed equipment per year.
As a consequence, the line meets all BAT (Best Available Technology) requirements in the area of environmental protection standards and fire safety standards. Thanks to this, we are also able to process difficult to recycle VIP (Vacuum Insulation Panels) devices.
